Career Background:
I graduated Cox in 2021 and joined Wells Fargo's Energy & Power Group in Houston as an investment banking analyst. Following my 2 years in Houston, I moved back to Dallas and started as an Associate at Kainos Capital, a middle market private equity fund focused in the consumer & food industries.
What am I doing – describe your current role and objectives:
I am currently an associate at Kainos Capital, where I evaluate new investment opportunities and provide support for two portfolio companies. My primary objective is to expand my analytical skill set, executive presence, and network.
Connections trying to make:
I plan to be in Texas for the rest of my career, and would like to expand my network beyond just my SMU Cox class. I would like to connect with alumni that have followed the Investment Banking to Private Equity career path, as well as those with more operationally focused experience.
