Career Background:
Lane Conner – Chief Payment and Logistics Officer, JustPark
Lane Conner is a bold innovator, steadfast civic steward, and relentless advocate for Dallas. Lane currently serves as the Chief Payment and Logistics Officer at JustPark (formerly ParkHub), where he has grown and helps steer one of the most transformative companies in smart mobility. Under his leadership, JustPark has become an indispensable partner for parking operations in sports stadiums, universities, parks, municipalities, and commercial properties across the country. What began as a solution for event parking has matured into a nationally recognized platform shaping how cities move—and how citizens experience public space.
Lane didn’t arrive at JustPark by accident. He is a two-time founder with exits in the fintech space, having previously launched and scaled Fuzse—a developer-first payments infrastructure company acquired by JustPark in 2022. Before that, he co-founded Blue Star Payment Solutions, a sister company to the Dallas Cowboys, backed by Jerry Jones and run with the kind of urgency and strategic clarity that delivered fifteen acquisitions in just eighteen months. The company’s exit to Providence Equity Partners solidified Lane’s reputation as a builder—not of hype, but of lasting institutions.
Earlier in his career, Lane helped scale First American Payment Systems (later acquired by Deluxe Systems) and was a key contributor at Century Payments, an Inc. 500 mainstay that eventually sold to WorldPay. The thread running through it all? An unflinching belief that excellence is both a decision and a habit—and that good ideas, when nurtured with discipline, can scale into great companies.
Lane is also a fixture in Dallas civic life—someone who has never forgotten that the point of success is to serve. Appointed by the Mayor and City Council to the Dallas Park and Recreation Board, he chairs the Planning & Design Committee, helping to lead transformative investments in the city’s greenspaces, trails, and recreational amenities. In 2023, Lane served on the City of Dallas Bond Committee, helping to direct over $1.2 billion in critical infrastructure improvements. He continues to work at the intersection of policy and public service—not with partisanship, but with purpose.
He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, one of the nation’s most historic bowl games, and advises the Dallas Sports Commission, helping attract global events and fuel local economic development. A proud alumnus of Southern Methodist University, Lane has been a driving force within the SMU Mustang Club and helped shepherd SMU’s successful transition into the ACC—a move that will echo through generations of students and alumni.
In every chapter of his civic leadership—whether with the Trinity Christian Academy Alumni Association, the North Texas Food Bank, or Engage Dallas—Lane brings the same discipline, optimism, and clarity of vision that have made him a cornerstone of the Dallas business community. He is the kind of person who builds coalitions, lifts up young leaders, and demands more of himself than he does of anyone else.
Lane earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science and Religious Studies from SMU, and later completed his master’s in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Oklahoma.
But his most powerful credential may be the city itself: few leaders have shaped, served, and bet on Dallas the way he has.
