Matthew began his career in investment banking with PJT Partners in Houston. Prior to joining PJT, he co-founded Carter & Clyde, a specialty retailer that was acquired by Dormify in 2023, now operating under the Williams Sonoma portfolio.
What am I doing – describe your current role and objectives:
In my current role at PJT, I focus on Oil & Gas strategic advisory, working with clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and other strategic assignments across the energy sector.
Connections trying to make:
Looking to develop relationships across the energy and financial communities while continuing to grow my professional network broadly. Hoping to connect with like-minded individuals, with an added interest in building ties to fellow SMU alumni. Always open to exploring opportunities to partner on projects, transactions, and investments.
