Phil Lezar serves as Partner, Capital & Operations with senior leadership accountability for
capital formation, investor relations, and platform operations. In this role, Phil owns and
executes the firm's capital raising strategy across family offices, high-net-worth investors, and
select institutional relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for prospective and
existing investors across the full investment lifecycle from initial outreach through commitment
and ongoing communication. He is responsible for developing and maintaining the firm's
institutional-quality marketing materials, investor reporting, data room content, and LP
communications. Beyond capital formation, Phil oversees the firm's day-to-day operating
infrastructure, including process design, technology and vendor relationships, AI-enabled
workflow integration, and internal coordination across all non-credit functions. He serves as a
trusted operating partner to the Managing Partner on strategic and operational initiatives,
translating firm priorities into executable frameworks as Banbridge scales toward its Fund II
platform.
Phil brings a hybrid background that blends hands-on operational leadership with institutional
credit and advisory experience spanning commercial banking, structured credit, fintech, and
founder-led operating roles. Prior to joining Banbridge, he served as a Debt and Equity Advisor
at Trailhead Partners, where he built and launched the firm's capital advisory vertical, advising
founders and operators on growth capital strategy, structuring bank and private credit solutions,
and facilitating investor introductions. Previously, Phil was Vice President of Business
Development at CollateralEdge, a fintech platform focused on enabling community banks to
expand commercial and industrial lending, where he worked closely with bank executives to
design credit enhancement solutions aligned with portfolio construction and risk management
objectives. Earlier, he served as President of 3530 Technologies (CreditCore), assuming
operational control following a founder exit, stabilizing the business, and driving new recurring
revenue through partnerships and platform improvements. Phil began his finance career in
commercial banking at Liberty Capital Bank, focused on commercial real estate loans and credit
facilities for high-net-worth clients.
Phil holds an MBA from SMU Cox School of Business with concentrations in Finance and
Strategy, and a Bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University.
