Walker Harris is a financial due diligence professional with experience spanning both audit and transaction advisory. He began his career in private company audit, where he spent 2.5 years serving clients across consumer products manufacturing, retail and distribution, and renewable energy, including companies focused on carbon credit generation through biomethane capture. His work included analyzing financial reporting processes, evaluating internal controls, and advising management teams on complex accounting matters. Walker currently works in M&A financial due diligence, where he supports private equity and corporate clients in evaluating acquisition targets. His experience includes analyzing quality of earnings, assessing cash flow sustainability, identifying key financial risks, and translating detailed financial data into actionable insights to support transaction decisions. He earned both his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Science in Accounting from Southern Methodist University. Outside of his professional work, Walker is the co-host of The Mustang Mood Podcast, an SMU athletics-focused podcast featuring player and insider interviews, fan perspectives, and commentary on SMU sports.
