I grew up in my family’s aerospace and defense manufacturing company, which my father started 38 years ago. Early in my career, I helped commercialize a Lockheed Martin product that became the first polymer 3D-printed part certified for use on the exterior of an aircraft, now flown on multiple global air force fleets and commercial operators. I then developed the Aerospace & Defense go-to-market strategy for a major 3D printing OEM, driving adoption across Tier 1 OEMs. Afterward, I returned home to Tulsa with my wife (an SMU alum as well) to lead operations at our family company, where I have driven significant growth and expansion into new market verticals.
What am I doing – describe your current role and objectives:
I currently lead Werco Manufacturing, our family’s AS9100D/ISO 9001-certified aerospace and defense manufacturing company, while also building a $100M roll-up vehicle focused on acquiring and scaling small to medium-sized manufacturers in the aerospace and defense supply chain. My objective is to strengthen America’s industrial base by modernizing legacy manufacturers and creating a scalable, resilient platform to support prime contractors and critical industries.
Connections trying to make:
I’m looking to connect with fellow SMU alumni who are involved in aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing. I also value connecting with leaders passionate about strengthening U.S. industry and building enduring businesses.
