I graduated from Dedman in 2015 and practiced law for 3 years. It wasn't for me. So I transitioned to a life in finance. I currently work for Southside Bank, an 8.5-billion bank headquartered in Tyler, Texas. I, along with another guy, opened their Dallas office in January 2024.
What am I doing – describe your current role and objectives:
I'm a commercial real estate banker and finance the development and acquisition of income-producing properties that are non-owner occupied. I work with all types of real estate (industrial, multifamily, retail, office, etc.).
Connections trying to make:
I'm a relationship-driven person. I really enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life. Professionally, anyone connected to real estate (general partners, equity partners, attorneys, title reps). Lastly, I'm a SMU super fan. So I love talking all things SMU athletics.
