I'm a practicing attorney with 23+ years of legal experience, including more than 15 years experience in state and federal residential mortgage origination and residential real estate law. I also previously worked in civil litigation at Stinnett Thiebaud & Remington, LLP, and as an Assistant DA with the Dallas County DA's office. I am licensed in Texas, North Carolina, and the District of Columbia (currently inactive in D.C.).
What am I doing – describe your current role and objectives:
I currently work with banks, credit unions, and non-bank lenders to support their real estate lending operations from a legal and compliance perspective. Our company provides mortgage loan documents and compliance support to real estate lenders.
Connections trying to make:
There is not one specific connection I am trying to make at this time. But I am always eager to meet and connect with fellow SMU alum and have many friendships and connections (in particular my wife Elizabeth, who is a 2000 Cox BBA and 2003 Dedman JD) that I attribute to SMU. I'm also interested in connecting with bankers and real estate lenders for business purposes.
