Title:

Associate

Education (SMU specific):

Cox School of Business

Career Background:

I graduated from the SMU Cox School of Business in 2024 with a degree in Finance and specializations in both Energy Management and Asset & Wealth Management. During my time at SMU, I developed a strong foundation in financial analysis, investment strategy, and the dynamics of global markets, while also gaining exposure to the energy sector. After graduation, I began my career in wealth management as an Associate at Merrill Lynch, where I support clients through financial planning, investment research, and personalized strategies designed to help them achieve their goals.

What am I doing – describe your current role and objectives:

In my role as a Wealth Management Associate at Merrill Lynch, I focus on supporting clients through financial planning, investment research, and market analysis. I work with our team to create personalized strategies that align with both short- and long-term goals, while also handling account management and day-to-day support to keep everything running seamlessly. Beyond the technical side, I prioritize building strong client relationships—taking the time to understand each person’s needs, anticipate what matters most, and ensure they feel confident and supported throughout their financial journey.

Connections trying to make:

Through SMU’s 1911 Alumni Group, I’m looking to connect with fellow alumni who share an interest in investment/wealth management and global markets, and who can offer insights from their own professional experiences. I value opportunities to learn from others in the industry, exchange perspectives on market trends, and build relationships that extend beyond the workplace. With SMU’s strong alumni presence in Dallas, I’m especially excited to engage with local alumni in events throughout the DFW area.
