What am I doing – describe your current role and objectives:

Senior Associate, Deals Transformation (PWC): Part of team managing integration of $4B deal in the Payments space. Specifically overseeing the management and reporting of expenses attributable to the integration of the acquired business while supporting team members tracking actioned synergies to make the deal accretive and meet synergy targets reported to the street. Previous experience within PwC partnering with sellers to perform diligence around what carved out businesses would look in future state with different buyer types. Collaborated with FDD team to include these findings in QoE and final diligence report. Objectives: Estbalish reputation for doing good work, establishing sector knowledge and specialization, and continuing to learn and elevate my outputs

Overarchingly want to create more connections within Dallas outside of my current firm and industry, to identify any future opportunities but also get new perspectives from others who have different experiences than me. The SMU network is a extremely robust, I believe there is a lot to learn across the spectrum of industries SMU alumni have entered (and do the same for others). I've had great experiences with all SMU folks I have come across and know there are many more to meet
