My background is in finance, starting my career leading diligence efforts for Mark Cuban on Shark Tank. From there, I helped launch a wealth management practice at McKinnon Patten Wealth Advisors. After returning to SMU to get my MBA, I worked in corporate development at Real Vision, raising funding rounds and leading due diligence on small acquisitions and partnerships. After launching my own small CPG business, I transitioned to a more traditional corporate finance role as an FP&A manager at Lexipol.
What am I doing – describe your current role and objectives:
I lead our month end close and reporting process, as well as our finance review with Lexipol's executive team and private equity sponsors. I also work on a variety of business cases with partner teams which include modeling pricing changes, launching new products, and developing new markets.
Connections trying to make:
I am trying to connect with other CPG founders and operators to expand my personal business, in addition to learning more about SMU alumn in the Real Estate space.
