Career Background:

Professional experience encompasses $210+ billion in global M&A activity. Before joining Pave America, led strategy and M&A efforts at a publicly traded building products company. Prior consulting career included strategy and M&A projects covering organic and inorganic growth initiatives, and both buy-side and sell-side transactions. JD/MBA with previous work in M&A Tax. Licensed attorney currently on inactive status. At USC Law, served as officer of Mock Trial Bar, President of Palmetto Law Society and member of Phi Delta Phi legal honors fraternity. John L. Palmer Fellowship recipient while an MBA candidate at the University of Mississippi. Graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2005 with Presidential and University honors.

What am I doing – describe your current role and objectives:

Leads Corporate Development efforts at Pave America, a private equity-backed platform formed by Shoreline Equity Partners and Trivest. The organization was created through the merger of two successful paving platforms – Brothers Paving and Pavement Partners. As a key member of the leadership team, I am responsible for sourcing, diligence, valuation, negotiations, Day 1 readiness, and post-close integration of acquisitions. In addition to driving M&A activities coast to coast, I built the Corporate Development function from the ground up, ensuring a strong foundation for both inorganic and organic growth initiatives. Pave America is a leading provider of asphalt and concrete solutions, including maintenance, repair, seal coating, milling, repaving, and new paving. The company serves a diversified customer base across the United States, including HOA properties, regional retailers, commercial customers, municipalities, and general contractors.
