I am currently in my first full-time job since graduating from SMU in 2022. I completed a training program during my first two years at MidFirst Bank. The first year consisted of training in commercial credit underwriting. I spent the second year rotating through numerous departments at the bank. Now I am in my current position in my third year.
What am I doing – describe your current role and objectives:
My current role is supporting the loan and deposit portfolio of the department. This mainly consists of facilitating the loan closing process, while corresponding with existing clients as well as prospecting new business.
Connections trying to make:
My career path will eventually lead to developing my own loan portfolio. It will be beneficial to have an established network in Dallas to succeed. I look to establish meaningful connections that can lead to future job growth opportunities as well as investment opportunities. I want to learn from people who have succeeded in their careers.
