I started my career in Corporate Strategy at Raytheon before working on Mitt Romney's 2012 campaign. After then completing my MBA from Darden at UVA, I entered the consulting industry - first with Deloitte and then with Slalom. I was hired on by a client to start and lead the company's Corporate Strategy team and was eventually given responsibilities over Corporate Communications as well. That's when I developed a passion for integrating strategy and storytelling.
What am I doing – describe your current role and objectives:
About two years ago, I founded Arvo Advisory, a boutique agency and management consulting firm that helps great leaders craft and communicate their strategy to build valuable companies. Our projects typically focus on strategy, executive communications, and/or Public Relations. I'm also trying to build a great place to work where team members can lead meaningful lives - personally and professionally.
I live in Dallas with my wife, daughter, and son on the way! We are active at Eastside Community Church, enjoy competitive games of Wingspan, and spend too much time discussing the TV show Survivor.
Connections trying to make:
If you company is at a strategic inflection point - whether that's launching a new strategy, making an acquisition, or looking to raise awareness, I'd love to discuss how my firm and team could help support!
