I have worked in the healthcare space in a few capacities throughout my career. I started as a pharmaceutical/med device rep in my 20's, and after grad school, I transitioned into the CRE space as a landlord/tenant representative salesperson for a local healthcare developer. For the last 3.5ish years, I have raised equity from individual HNW investors and institutional groups alike on closed ended fund platforms. Most recently, I accepted a job with Humphreys Capital(OKC Private Equity fund manager) to build and grow our Dallas office.
What am I doing – describe your current role and objectives:
I am the Director of Investor Relations for Texas and the Southeast at Humphreys Capital, which is a $1.6B private real estate fund manager based in OKC. My primary role will be raising equity dollars from HNW individuals and RIAs for our evergreen fund, Humphreys Real Estate Income Fund (HREIF).
Connections trying to make:
I believe in introducing individuals in my network first, in hopes they will connect the dots with their own career objectives. As for me, I am looking to connect with individuals that give me insight/inspiration into building out a Dallas team and may have an interest in private real estate investing.
